Engineer VisibilityATS compatibility scanner Back to scanner

PRIVACY & SECURITY

Your résumé stays on your device.

What is processed

When you select a PDF file, the browser reads its text locally to calculate an ATS compatibility estimate. A pasted job description is also processed locally. Neither input is transmitted by this application.

Storage and retention

The application does not store résumé text, job descriptions, results, or file names in cookies, local storage, session storage, or a database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the in-memory analysis.

Third parties

The parser libraries are hosted on the same domain. Resume text, job descriptions, file names, and scan results are not sent to third-party APIs. If you accept analytics on salari.dev, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may receive ordinary pageview and interaction data, not the contents of your résumé.

File safety limits

Files are extension-, MIME-, and signature-checked and limited to 10 MB. PDF parsing runs locally in an isolated PDF.js worker with dynamic code evaluation disabled. Excessively long or complex files are rejected to protect browser stability.

What the score means

The result is an explainable compatibility estimate, not a score issued by every employer or applicant tracking system. Employers configure different parsing, search, ranking, and review workflows.
